Highlights of the October KSARA Committee Meeting.
This month we spent some time going over arrangements for this year’s AGM, which is to be held at St Peter’s church on 14th November: details here.
We discussed the development of Centurion House. Members of KSARA met with the developers on the site, and had a very positive meeting. Engagement is ongoing with regards “ways of working” during the course of the development and also to address maintenance of the site in the meantime.
Members of the committee also met with Richard Beecham, head of Chester Council along with representatives of other residents associations around the city. Matters discussed included the importance of encouraging city living to the vitality of the city; a review which is underway of short-term letting in the city, and the importance of residents reporting issues (a “Residents Guide to Reporting Issues” had been created, available here).
