Update on KSARA Street Party

The Committee met on Tuesday 15th August and decided that the weather forecast is too uncertain to go ahead with the Street Party this Saturday 19th August as hoped. (This will of course guarantee that it will be hot and sunny all day!).

However we are determined to still organise some sort of get-together this summer if possible. So, we agreed that if we have a spell of settled fine weather mid-late September, we will hold an impromptu “pop-up” party at a couple of days notice. Very informal – we’ll just crack open a few bags of crisps and people can bring along something to drink and chat to their neighbours in the street for an hour or so. If you’re lucky we might even be able to entice a passing busker or roving minstrel to provide some entertainment.
